All that complaining about the pro style offense that Miles ran. Coach O said he is going with the USC offense that was run while he was there. Magically, it was the spread offense with Kiffin calling the plays. Guess who they hired? A pro style coordinator.

You know how we have this scourge of fake news stories? Well the scourge of the rant is the unsupported optimism of some fans bases. There is absolutely nothing to indicate that the LSU coaching staff will succeed. There is more evidence that Da Coach O will utterly fail. Losing the Florida game, losing recruits from Louisiana left and right, missing on hires, not to mention his atrocious record as a head coach. What reason is there for optimism other than the need for delusion in order to not have to face reality?

Absolutely. There is nothing indicating he will do well at all. LSU fans are just hoping that if they keep saying this shite that they will actually convince themselves it's true.

This is all spot on.
The OP doesn't represent all LSU fans. Some of us have our eyes wide open and are fully aware of the dismal state that LSU has entered. My only hope is that Coach O fails so decisively and spectacularly that he's canned next year and we can move on from this horrible mistake.
