that bullshite tip pass touchdown that Chad Kelly threw to Adeboyja(sp?) and Laquon Treadwell.
Sorry for not running a vanilla offense like your team.

Because that shite always happens in EVERY of our losses. Like every time except the 2010 SCAR game and the 2015 OSU game. We just got our asses kicked in those games.

The Manziel fumble, the Kick Six, the 72 yard camera punt by Brad Wing...all that shite.

How we lost to that LSU team in Tuscaloosa I'll never know. That team was the biggest collection of thugs outside the 1996 FSU Seminoles I've ever seen. They finally got exposed for the mediocre squad they really were that year in New Orleans.

Wow I feel really bad for you. All those terrible, unjust losses you've had to endure as a Bammer fan have surely traumatized you.

Didn't Eli falling down end the game?

It gave LSU possession and the ability to run out the clock. So yes, essentially

not gonna argue with you. but I can still remember middle 2nd qtr, Rebels up 7-3...Cris Collins catches a 15 yd Manning pass at midfield, finds the sidelines and is off to the races before being knocked out of bounds inside the LSU 10 yd line and on the verge of putting the game away early. referees rule that he stepped out of bounds at the 45 yd line when replays show he didn't...I say all that to say that play alone adds 70 yds to the total ydage for Ole Miss, and very well gives them the game.

14-3 in the 2nd quarter puts the game away?

I think that outcome sealed LSU's fate. Bryant-Denny was rocking from the moment they announced the final of that game onwards.

In what context? Not trolling, just curious. Just to ensure that Ole Miss wouldn't go on to Atlanta? Bama was like 4-7 at the time

Eli falling down was worse, because it was LSU.

We don't care about Arkansas. They're the only conference team other than State that we honestly feel sorry for.

he's talking about the 4th and 25 play from last year. Not the Eli trip.

4th and 25 kept an SEC in the playoffs
Yep. It kinda shows why judging football coaches or teams bases purely on titles doesnt make sense either. Saban and Bama were clearly the best team last year, but it took a 4th & 25 miracle play to allow them in the playoffs. If Ole Miss doesnt choke, Bama is still the best team but they dont even get a chance.

Crazy how much luck is involved in the CFP

Eli falling down wasn't the worst part. Our Lou Groza award winning kicker missing 2 FG's was the worst part of that game considering those 6 points would have won the game.

not necessarily. Butterfly effect. He doesn't miss those kicks and everything following that is different

Why do Bama fans focus on the tipped pass like that was our only explosive play the entire game ?

Probably the same reason OM fans forget 24 of those points came on drives of 30 yards or less.

Ole Miss had 500 yds of total offense, and lit the Bryant Denny stadium scoreboard up for 43 points, built 20 point leads in the game, TWICE....if the Crimson Tide did this, you would consider it an arse kicking. it was, in fact, an asskicking.

Ole Miss was the best team in both games

How in God's name do you get to the conclusion that Ole Miss was the best team in the 2003 LSU-Ole Miss game? LSU dominated statistically. The only reason Ole Miss was even in the game at the end was that our flu-ridden QB threw like a million picks, including a pick-6 for half your points, and a questionable defensive holding penalty on a third down stop kept your ONLY scoring drive of the game alive.

Oh, and by the way, Ole Miss lost to Memphis and Texas Tech that year, while LSU won the national championship.

The better team clearly won that game, despite not playing one of our better games and playing on the road in a rivalry game against our toughest competition with its once-in-a-generation superstar player leading them to their best season in over 30 years.

"Eli's fall" did secure Ole Miss that coveted SEC West Co-Championship.
