We have it in spades. Merlins doesn't tolerate people calling him the Hunchback of Vegas.

The key to State winning will be turnovers. Y'all can talk all this "it'll be a close game" shite all you want but if State jumps out to an early lead and forces OM to feel pressed to score quickly then we will have them right where we want them. Wallace is too much of a head case. He will try to force it and he will make mistakes.

Now, on to the QB issue. That is what intrigues me the most. On one hand you have Russel who is having a good year but hasn't really shown that "IT" factor; like having the desire to pull out a win from certain defeat. Wallace looks like he has that inner fire in him and although he hasn't made any Tebow-like moments, that is what I believe will keep Ole Miss in the game.

Impossible, states having their best season in recent history and ole miss has a new head coach.

I think you meant to say "best season in two years."

My favorite part of this classic Bundy-grind is that there are absolutely ZERO statistical offerings for the OM portion and yet most of the categories are labeled, Adv State.

ex.
"TE Ole Miss has Srs Ferbia Allen and Jamal Moseley

State's duo of Marcus Green and Malcolm Johnson have combined for 8 TDs

ADVANTAGE STATE"

Our players listed with no year stats, recent performance trends or even last weeks stats. So OBVIOUSLY, States TE's are better with 8 TD's.

Nicely ground, sir.

Ok all i want to say is that for a game like this (a rival game) it has been proven that stats don't matter. A few years ago, Ole Miss was about go be 9-3 and MSU wasn't even going to a bowl game. Everyone picked Ole Miss to win and it was an upset. Anything can happen in these games. And if Tyler Russell is soo good, then y has he lost to the same people we lost to? We have beaten the same MSU has beaten and we have lost to the same people they have. Anything can happen!

Your arguments are bad and you should feel bad.

Honestly, what the frick kind of analysis is this?

quote:

Ole Miss has Bo Wallace and Barry Brunetti both are upgrades from last year and capable of making big plays.

State's duo of Tyler Russell and Dak Prescott have combined for 25 passing and 7 rushing TDs

ADVANTAGE STATE

If I were grading this, I'd fail you. I'd write "we need to talk" on the paper to let you know that you're gonna have to pick it up to pass the class, Al.

Who has Ole Miss beat worth a shite?

The difference is that we Ole Miss fans aren't thumping our chests as if we're something that we're not.

Wallace has blown 3 fourth quarter leads this year. That's what I call a playmaker there.

Um, your record against our common opponents is exactly the same as ours.

Who is saying anything about moral victories here?

It seems as if the state fans are showing off the few good things that state has done and only showing the bad things Ole Miss has done. This forum is analyzing both the offenses, not showing off the good in one and the bad in the other.

Do we really need to break this game down? I mean.... blah.

Miss. St. has dominated the last 2 or 3. Hugh Freeze is good. Mullen is good. Hugh Freeze has the advantage, because his team is playing for more.

Ole Miss wins.

Russell acts like a big poon tbh. also our receivers are a lot better. bumphis is ok but if anyone says he wasn't a slight bust you would be lying.

Ok yall are talking about who will win based on stats. Chemistry also plays a huge factor in this game. MSU has won the last three, do you really thing Hugh Freeze and the Rebels are gonna let them win again??? Plus they need to win this game to be bowl eligible so they are gonna come out and be ready to play football.
