Well, besides UGA fans who proclaim each new 5 star RB or backfield duo is as good or better than Herschel, nobody.

For the life of me I just can't figure out how you computer geeks from the North Avenue Trade School can't figure out how to create a football message board.
Then you could stop clogging ours up with idiocy.

Actually a few recent backs in the SEC could have been in the discussion if not for injuries. Gurley, Fournette, and Chubb could all have had similar career numbers to Herschel and Bo.

Fournette is actually the only back to come close to breaking Walker's single season record, as he ended up with 1,953 yards to Herschel's 1,975 yards.

Chubb and Gurley were also both threats to push the 2,000 yard mark with their talent but for the injuries.

Well you all are living in the past as most has - been fan base do . Doubt you are anyone will be getting another Bo or Hershel again soon. So what back is setting rushing records this year? Oh I guess I see why your dipping in the past now that I think of it.

How about someone introducing the RB who broke Walker's SEC single season record?????? So Heisman winner Derrick Henry not only breaks Walker's all time SEC record for yards in a season, he did it on fewer carries and against higher ranked teams (schedule strength), so the argument Henry playing in more games that year is moot.

When do we play LSU again? I think 2018, I'm not sure but I'm coming to that game. I want to experience tailgating in BR.

Don't talk sh*t about Georgia running backs, you'd hate to have them running all over your arse.

Yep. 2018. I'm looking forward to it.
I was surprised to find this:

Georgia is (13-16-1) against LSU

Looks like we need a win.

Dude don't even start on the better o-line. No compartison to what Bama lines up in front of today's backs . I have to say the linemen avg 250 back then , but then again the defenses were smaller and slower as well so really .the whole discussion is apples and oranges.

Walker had better full career stats, Henry started only one year, but I wanted to point out that Henry should at least be in the discussion. I have total respect and admiration for Walker.

Always a good game but good luck running on LSU's D next year. Let's bookmark this one for shits and giggles though.

I still don't think you have an argument in a HW v. BJ discussion sir, with all due respect.

I'd like everyone to just agree those two gentlemen were the best we ever saw as a conference. I mean, I'm a UGA fan but I'm giving credit to BJ (Not like he cares about my vote).

I mean, come on... it's Bo or Herschel and every other argument is wishful thinking.

I loved watching both of these backs run. What they did for college football is alive today in the dreams of every RB. But really not sure we think the same of either of them in the game today. Evolution is what it is. It's a diff game . But I'm with your point though. And I celebrate both careers Sir!!!

Some kid will come along and be as good or better in our lifetime imo but until it happens you are right. Herchel is the greatest and maybe second best in ncaa after Barry.
