Don't forget Blake Sims, he's got the speed and talent and has worked in that spot a good bit since he arrived.

maze and hanks make a nice 2-3 combo, but like u said, you are missing that #1, which carter will quickly have to fill into.
i have no idea how ur WR rotation will go, but i'm of the opinion that carter was brought in for that reason, no?

Sounds like it is. Even if not though, I think Bama's run game is fine and still enough talent behind Trent to give him rest and not lose much. Wouldn't want Lacy to go down, but would LOVE to see Sims getting some playing time and that would open a perfect opportunity for him.

Maze is solid. Hanks has been around for ever it seems like and never really stepped out. I'd like to think he has it in him but he hasn't shown it yet.

To say the least. We have talent but the biggest glaring problem on our coaching staff is that we have never had a good WR coach under Saban. Excellent coaching at every other position but I've seen very little progression from our stable of WR's.

Hanks has been overshadowed by Julio. Hanks has sure hands and isn't afraid to go over the middle. Has made some great and some clutch catches. I would like to see him getting the ball alot more. He's talented enough if he gets it tossed his way.
