Better hope he doesn't do shady stuff and get LSU in trouble. Other then that strong hire...he is one of the best DL coaches in the college game and a strong recruiter.

As long as your new DC doesn't frick things up too bad you should remain a solid 9 win program.

I say 9 win program since you still need a passing game.

Definitely. However, we haven't been getting the DL studs we used to get and the fence needs repairing. This helps on both accounts.

Don't think a DL coach makes up for the worst DC and one of the worst OCs in the SEC

Well it is 8 in the morning. Isn't this guy a really good recruiter and an average coach? Should help yall next year but it's less than a month until NSD.

It's a good hire but how does this fix yesterday?

Wait, so hiring Ed Orgeron means you're going to win now?

Half the team would yell, “Ole Miss” while the other would yell “Wild Boys.” Apparently it got pretty crazy and guys started flipping chairs, yelling, and throwing cooler across the room while chanting Ole Miss… Wild Boys. “”He then stopped and said, “One more thing. If any of you motherfrickers thinks you can take me, you come up here and get a piece of me right now.”

Frank Wilson + Orgeron = best recruiting tandem in the country.

Yeah but how is that going to help you this year, we're less than a month until NSD.

By the way I think Orgeron is a good hire, would have made him the DC.

You still have Kevin Steele as your DC. It wont matter one bit with O. You say he will help recruiting, but LSU recruits itself usually so I doubt it will be much of a jump.

Then you only listen to trolls. We lost more players to the NFL in the last two years than any other team.

That's why you shouldn't let impressions outweigh intelligence and observation. What great talent did you see on our Dline this year? Do you think Welter was "talent"? Chavis should have been fired for ever playing Welter or letting it get to a point where Welter had any consideration for playing time.
