It is very possible that the East could be better than the West, top to bottom, in 2013.

It's possible.

We'll see.

Sure. They may well be favorites in all their games save UGA/A&M/UF/SCar. UF has bigger O issues than even LSU. UGA is getting Murray back apparently but losing a lot of guys I think. They only lost to SCar by 4 this year. 10-2 is doable, no doubt.

No significant losses then? I don't really follow East teams except UF.

UF has the biggest O questions in the conference save maybe Missouri.

This could be furthest from the truth... Our offense will be better this year than it was last year.

This sounds familiar. I remember all we heard last off-season was how great UGA's D would be. I'll believe this when I see it. Georgia next year equals Southern Cal this year, good offense on paper, soft D, and bad coaching. Spells disaster going up against Clemson and USC first two weeks of the season.

ETA: and as for the East vs. West argument, I don't know. South Carolina should beat their 2 west opponents, that's all I care about. I don't think the East has a National title contender but really the West might not either. Depends on what happens with A&M and Bama in the off-season.

I have them losing 2 out of 3 between Florida, Georgia, and A&M, and winning the rest, including South Carolina (hell they almost beat SC last season and I expect them to be even better this coming season). Obviously this is going to rustle everyone's jimmies from those 4 schools but it's just my opinion.

Frick off. There's not reason at this point to suspect we'll take a step back.

The defense can't be worse than it was this year.

That's what Auburn said when they fired Ted Roof.

Ask them how things turned out.
