I think you're reaching. UT is the preseason favorite to win the east, but most of their fans are still cautiously optimistic. If you see anything different is largely a blatant troll. And the media is pumping them up way more than their fans are.

Maybe some fans from the east beat their chest because their team has actually won a SEC championship game. Your trying to down programs that helped the conference get the respect they have now. UF has a lot more to do with the respect the SEC gets the Ole Miss. ole Mis has the best players their money can buy and still can't win a SEC championship game.
