I would say that it feels rather disappointing, but beating mighty Treon and the vaunted Gator rushing attack in late October would not have miraculously vaulted us into the CFB Playoff.

Hell, if you're going to do it credit it for taking out Treon "Dawgslayer" Harris- aka our starting QB for 2 games the next 2 seasons-- both against UGA so he can run the table against y'all.

Put it this way, Muschamp's dream offense only worked in one game over 4 years-- that game was against UGA in 2014 following the worst offensive performance in Gator history (Driskel portion of the game).

I hate to interrupt this food fight with a legit question but Dawg fans, do you think Eason starts the beginning of the season or works his way into it. If he's eased into the role when do you think he will start?

I hope Eason starts all season...true frosh QBs is like blood in the water and the SEC has lots of sharks. Smart can afford to gamble for the future since he brand new and cant be fired yet. By the time Eason is soph-junior he should have a lot more experience of being under fire.
