I didn't call out Trey. Having a different opinion isn't calling someone out.

Never said that. Just laughing at you comparing yourself to NFL execs.

I never compared myself to an NFL exec

I like the draft, so I watch a lot of film on prospects, even help a group of guys on another NFL site (Buccaneers fan site) do a draft guide (I do a lot of SEC evals)

Never said I was close to the level of an NFL exec, that would be a cool job though, maybe some day

ETA: I meant NFL perspective meaning how each guy translates to the NFL, non homer perspective, at least I try.....the only one I really struggled with this yr was Jesse Williams

McCarron is taller, more accurate, better decision maker, more of a proven winner, has shined in big games, been coached better to this point, will have more hype from winning titles and having a hot girlfriend.

but hey they must be homers to think that some A&M OT could go before the almighty OTs of the Crimson Tide.

Happened this year. Gonna happen again next year.

And such is life.

And Bama fans will think Cyrus is better for the very same reason.

But the difference is that those not affiliated with TAMU think Matthews >> Cyrus. Thus, you're left to your biased opinion while we're supported by corroborating sources.

Mett will be drafted pretty highly (2nd round IMO). His arm strength and size are undeniable and Cam will turn him into a solid QB. NFL teams are gonna love a QB coached by Cam in college.

If Jeremy Hill hadn't fricked up, he's also a potential first rounder. Still, he'll be drafted and we make room for Fournette.

That's certainly not a consensus. There are too many variable that will play out over the next 12 months. For all we know, there could be another meteoric rise of an OT from a MAC school.

I don't see Hubbard as a first round talent. Maybe he'll be better this year?
