Hate to bust bubbles but preseason predictions are just plain ole opinions.
Last year Sporting News came out with their 2014 predictions and Oklahoma was their numero uno....how did that end? I think OU lost four to five games.

You resemble those remarks yourself considering you have been crying like a little bitch every since I pointed out the ridiculousness of the op claiming he wasn't biased.
You can make whatever predictions you want, but you shouldn't claim to be unbiased when you rank your own team higher than most other people would

No, we are talking about the defense that finished ranked #1 in the SEC and top 10 in the country.
Notre Dame game is stupid, we pretty much played that game without a DC. MSU was completely shut down for the majority of that game. They had two 70 yard TDs. Plus both that game and Auburn were before we started playing with a real MLB and with preseason 1st team all-SEC safety Jamal Adams.
Literally the only reason this defense might not be dominant is because of a change at DC. If they finish anything below top 25 in the country, Steele deserves to be fired.

Dude, Mississippi State had something like 300 rushing yards and 500 total yards on y'all. I wouldn't say y'all shut them down at all.

We finally had an offseason where we weren't completely gutted by the draft. the last time that happened was 2011. Why WOULDN'T we be confident?

I will be very surprised if LSU goes 10-2. By the end of last season their offense was literally three yards and a cloud of dust. Couple that with the potential for a defensive falloff due to the fact that Kevin Steele is a terrible football coach and I just don't see them contending this year.
