Tennessee -5.5 vs #14 North Carolina State

Oklahoma -4 vs. #17 Tennessee

Alabama -2.5 @ #17 Tennessee

Vols will win all three of these games by 10 plus points. Light work.

Bama will be breaking in a new offense and Oklahoma is replacing their entire oline practically. Our dline will absolutely have our way with the Sooners.

NC State is early on the road but they don't match up well against us at all.

Comparing all those lines, it appears Vegas ranks the SEC like this (*no lines listed for UK, MSU, SC, Vandy)

1. Georgia

2. Texas (about 4 points on average behind UGA)

3. Alabama (about 4 points on average behind Texas)

4-6. Ole Miss, LSU, Texas A&M (all within 0-1 points of each other, and on average about 3 points behind Alabama)

7-8. Oklahoma, Missouri (pretty dead even… about 2 points behind the group ahead of them)

9. Tennessee (about 1.5 points behind the two teams ahead)

10. Auburn (about 5 points behind Tennessee)

11. Florida (0.5-1 point behind Auburn)

12. Arkansas (3 points or so behind Florida)

No data to rank Kentucky, Vandy, SC, or State.

The UGA/AU line definitely seems too high. Last years game was too close for comfort, and I'm not sure I see any reason to think the game will be a blowout in Freeze's second year either.

Georgia fans secure your damn hotels and airbnb's now, there's a formula one world-class event coming here at the same date with tons of musical artists coming here.

Yeah it’s probably already too late if you want a decent room in Austin. The F1 race brings in the jetset crowd. Hotels will be impossible to come by.

Guessing a lot of people outside of the Cotton district don't even realize this game happens.

Game is in Athens and auburn hasn't won there in 19 years. UGA will be fine.

It was too late to do that when the game was announced. Flight prices were insane too. Sec certainly did y’all a favor.

4 point underdog to team with a first season coach at home ?

#ThanksUAA !

We are not talking about Fisher running the Texas A&M football program. This is a new HC that really wants to get Texas A&M to be a good football program.

Got 8 tickets and friends just south of Austin....gonna be a GOOD 5 day weekend. Hate that the race is in town though but hoping the eurotrash stays out of the ice houses and dance halls!

Depending on where ticket prices go we may just watch the game at our friends house. I paid less than $4.5K for 8 with fees...they've gone up since and should go up substantially unless one of them shits the bed. If they get up to $1500 we staying home LOL....

For anyone who knows - how does the race impact the New Braunfels / Gruene / Seguin bars? I am thinking (hoping) the race crowd stays near Austin? Would like to pick a little at Luckenbach also but don't care to do so if there's a gazillion people there...I am hoping its far enough way to keep them in Austin.

We are driving the RV. There are 4 of us coming from Georgia and if air fare was $50 roundtrip we'd probably drive to avoid the airport / airline fun. Its outside my normal 10 hour drive versus fly rule but doing it in the RV makes it more palpable....

$320 ATL to DFW Friday - Sunday non stop Delta but that means about 70 hours in traffic to and from Austin.

A little more to Houston which in my experience is a little better drive than coming from Dallas.

We are driving our RV. Its a pull but doing it in a motorhome with 3 drivers ain't bad. Ain't cheap but its not terrible.

I don’t think it will affect hill country much. New Braunfels/Gruene won’t be packed in late October as it is the summertime destination, but Fredericksburg/Luckenbach/Hye will be slammed on the weekends.
I pulled my 5th wheel through Austin a couple years ago and then sold it because I never wanted to do that again among other logistical reasons.
Not sure why anyone would go to Seguin, but it may be packed because it’s a straight shot to the race and I knew a guy who kept his RV there.

Odds are very low that we go 12-0, however I can't point to a game offhand and say "yes we will lose" so I guess it kinda makes sense.

It's the grind of playing in the SEC. You win a big game but get beat up doing so and then lose to a team you weren't worried about.

Scheduling the Georgia game one week after the Oklahoma game..

I assure you.. that was no favor.. hopefully we can go 1-1 in those 2 games..
