We've beaten you with Jordan Jefferson twice and had you on the ropes with Anthony Jennings... and the post was made in response to a claim that yall are better off because you're more "balanced" this year.

So which is it? Is it the WRs that suck and keep dropping Peyton Harris' passes or is it that Harris isn't having that good a year? One LSU fan says that Harris is great but the WRs keep dropping and another fan says that the WRs are fixing to eat. Which one is going to improve before the game? Because at least one of them has to for LSU to be able to pass effectively.

We beat you in Tiger Stadium from 1969 to 2000. That has as much to do with this game as JJ and Jennings do.

A claim? I responded with my personal opinion. Don't be so defensive, the game will not be decided on this board, but it will be decided.

Well, to be fair, this team hasn't played LSU's offense yet to pad it's stats.

I'll give you a serious response. It's definitely our receivers and scheme so far. Miles has to get the frick out the way of Cameron and let him do his thing, and our WRs, who graded themselves as an F- this past weekend, need to catch the damn ball. A lot of our scheme has been deep routes off of play action, etc., and we haven't used the middle of the field effectively enough. We aren't calling for Harris to throw for 300, but more like 150, which is clearly enough if we get 200 on the ground (which we will).

You keep harping on the fact that the game will be decided on the field. We know man. It's a college football message board.

I agree with everything you wrote (except the 200). If Harris keeps Bama honest it could be a long night for the home team.

In that case LSU is going to get curb stomped. Did I do it right?

Well, he is averaging 94 per game against total shite defenses.

Yes, so shitty that he doesn't HAVE to throw the ball.

Fournette is averaging over 200 yards per game running against 9 men in the box. Why throw the ball at all when you can do that?

I would think that if anybody, Alabama fans would appreciate a hard nosed running game. I guess y'all have gotten soft.

I remember a football game when Alabama went 6 of 18 for 61 yards passing and beat LSU 26-0. Who gives a frick what the QB is doing when the RB is racking up yards? Hell, the last time LSU beat Alabama the Tigers only completed 9 passes for 91 yards. And that was supposedly against one of the better Bama defenses.

Been saying this since Week 1. I could give a flying eff how many passing yards Harris has and he would probably feel the same way. As long as Fournette does what he does. Why change it.

Matter of fact, I think Harris and the WRS are going to step up HUGE when Fournette is having a 'sluggish' game.

His teammates want him to go down as a legend in College Football.

Because he is not going to do that against Alabama. I know you know this ,man.

NEWSFLASH! LSU hasn't played Alabama yet.

The full question is for the hard of thinking, why would Harris throw the ball against the defenses he's already played if the running game is being so productive. The answer is that he doesn't have to throw the ball because the running game is so productive. therefore, we really don't know how well he'll do given 20-30 attempts in a game.

...we may never know.

ETA: And don't knock Skoal-dippin' fat Alabama chicks until you've banged a few.

With him, Guice, and Harris, we should probably break 200 pretty easily, and history tells us you only need 300 or so yards offensively to win this game.
