Florida gets in state rival Miami. The Gators took 2/3 from the Canes in February.

Arkansas gets Virginia. Both squads have become hot at the right time. The last time these two teams met in Omaha, it was a great game and UVA was sent packing.

LSU awaits the winner of TCU/aTm. Tigers will have Lange going against whoever wins. Edge to the Tigers.

Vandy will meet the winner of CSF/Louisville. Certainly give the edge to the defending National Champions.

To me it looks as if all SEC teams would be favored in first round games.

Has one league ever had all teams in the winners bracket after all first round games? Would be interesting.

1997 was a dominant year. Four SEC West teams alone. Alabama and LSU played for title.

I don't recall exactly (too lazy to research) but I highly doubt it. it certainly might not happen this year either and probably won't. the only gurantee is if the aggies beat tcu and they face lsu.

this is one of the strongest series i have seen.

No I believe the SEC had 3 out of 4 in 96. And 10 total CWS games were won by SEC teams in 97.

don't know what I was expecting as a reply but it wasn't that.

Good luck to everybody in (and the rest who are gonna be in).

Vandy with Fulmer in Game 1 looking good whether its CSF or Louisville
Ark Game 1 pitching is better than UVA
Looking like another A&M/LSU battle in first game and honestly it could go either way, Kent looks like A&M's best pitchers right now, do they throw him first?
Florida may be the hottest team in the country right now, have been playing awfully well at the right time, putting up big offensive numbers and getting stellar pitching.

TD Ameritrade changes everything about how your team plays though and the teams that adapt and change to how the park plays as opposed to how they have won games all year will be the X factor.

Good luck to all SEC teams unless you match up with LSU!

Trey Killian should get the start in Game 1 vs Virginia.

In terms of SEC domination ... you may wish to take a look at the 2011 CWS: MASH HERE

In 2009? How is that relevant?

It's a reference to the last time the two teams met in Omaha.

If you can't quite comprehend that, I don't know what to tell you.

The new ball flew pretty well when we played at TD Ameritrade earlier this year. I know Benny hit a HR and we may have hit one more, I can't remember.

I think we will see more long balls this year.

Not really a point towards your prediction of an Arkansas victory.

Where did I use that as a point towards Arkansas winning?
