RNK - TEAM (2018 SEC RECORD)
1 - Florida (20-10) will just reload and likely #1 again
2 - Ole Miss (18-12) slight step back

Great job, but we lose so much I just think we have to take a step back at some point.

I beg to differ. MSU returns a lot, and it's highly unlikely that they get off to such a horrible start again next year.

-They won't play the first month and half on the road, for starters.
-The coach won't be fired 3 qames into next season (fingers crossed, knock on wood)

I wouldn't pick State to win the league, but they shouldn't have to sweep #1 just to make the SEC tournament next year either.

The only people we are losing is Konnor Pilkington, JP France, Zach Neff, and possible Hunter Stovall. Not sure what the pitching staff will be like but we do bring back a majority of our players and may not lose a single person from our batting lineup. I just cant see how we could regress that much.

Need so see who makes it to campus. But yes, Vandy should be very good next year.

Stovall is gone.

I assume Ethan Small leaves but him just being a soph he might come back....might.

Jacob Billinsgley is gone, too. Blake Smith.

State is going to lose a lot of pitching.

We will lose too much as well. We lose Knight and Murphy. We might get Campbell back to be our Friday night starter. After that, it gets sketchy. We have some freshmen pitchers that got to see a little bit of action earlier in the season, but they haven't seen much since. We do get our closer, Matt Cronin, back. So, that's a plus.

In the lineup, we lose Cole, Bonfield, Shaddy, Gates, Biggers, and Koch. Thankfully, Fletcher, Martin, and Kjestad return, but there is so much to replace in the infield.

Next year, for us, is a wildcard.

True. We are putting a lot of hope in injured arms coming back after missing this season.

Not the safest bet in baseball

I think next season LSU and Vandy will be the favorites.

Probably losing their entire weekend staff of Pilkington, Small and Billingsley. Plus 3 of the top high-leverage relievers in Smith, Neff and France.

That's the central reasoning.

I could be wrong obviously it's a guess at this point but fans always overrate incoming players and assume everyone improves and etc.

I think Arkansas will find some quality arms between the likes of Caleb Bolden, Kole Ramage, Hunter Milligan, Zeb Vermillion, Jackson Rutledge. Unlikely all of them pan out for next year but too much talent for several to not stick.

Couple with some other arms, plus newcomers...Arky should still be pretty solid. Esp *if* Isaiah comes back.

Kevin Kopps will be back from injury, also.

Duplantis is returning and Webre is transferring.

We lost the big guy, Jackson Rutledge, to transfer.

Bolden and Milligan looked like they have control issues the last couple of times they came out. Hopefully, they get that straightened out in fall ball.

Ramage did look good last night. His splitter was just filthy.

Kopps is coming back from TJ surgery, so h's a wildcard.

Who are we losing? Which recruits are going to sign? What do you think of the JUCOs coming in? How many weekend arms will be back?

So you think Missouri will be much worse and possibly finish DFL?

I changed it when I noticed it was about something else.
