Our previous Defensive Coordinator.
He’s not a Google hire (not sure what that is).
He was very well respected and liked in College Station.

From that list - Dan Lanning is who I don’t want them to hire. Them going Kingsbury seems more likely to happen.

Norvell
FSU doesn’t have the deep pockets of even a midtier SEC/B1G school, plus they’re stuck with that whole ACC deal

the only thing that might prevent TAMU from going after him is that they took Jimbo from there 6 years ago

That's a nice list, but do we think there is any way that Aggie doesn't promote Petrino to interim, who has some modicum of success to close out the season before being given another ridiculous contract as a washed-up former HC to become the next full-time Aggie HC?

It seems the Aggie way.

If they’re willing to pay Kiffin over $10-11 million a year, they can have him. I like having Lane and want him here but he is at the absolute threshold of what he’s worth right now. If we give him a raise even if we finish 11-2 I will be pissed

Dan Lanning is the name that should worry people on that list. They would immediately become a national title contender next year

I am pretty sure it will be Lane Kiffin. Those of you saying no chance don't understand the A&M boosters.

They are obsessed with Texas. They worry Sarkisian will stomp them next year and goign forward. They see Kiffin as being able to keep the Longhorns in check.

Plus those two coaches go way back and the shots they take at each other will be great entertainment.

Doesn’t matter who aggy hires, aTm is a coaching graveyard. Hell, Bear Bryant couldn’t win there.

The only coaches they’ll be able to poach are in the big 12. And the only one that could make a difference is Klienman
