I don't know, guess little nicknames have just never been my thing. It bothers me as much for other schools as it does for OM. I can't stang seeing "gumps", "boogs", "lswho", or "moo u

How in the frick could you forget "Arky"? Worst of them all

If State ever gets the expansion plans finalized, the new DWS would look awesome:

I left out a lot. "TSUN" is really popular among certain demographics right now, but I get it. It gets that group going, so that's fine. I'm sure there are some stupid nicknames that some redneck OM fans call State, but I guess I don't really hang out with that crowd, so I'm out of the loop. I try and leave that shite alone and call schools, and most things in general, by their actual names...

That's a 20-year total expansion, at least.

Honestly, I look at that one like "State". It isn't really degrading to them, just a quicker way to write it when referring to them...

You obviously haven't seen our waiting list, our university or anything outside of West Georgia

For us too, but not gonna lie, State will have to take several pretty large steps in the next decade to getting close to that. That is a large stadium with both endzones done and the entire outside of the stadium refinished. Even if it was started immediately and had constant construction, it would take quite a while for State's current stadium to turn into that. Looks great though...

What is it?
I know the plans call for State to expand to 65,000 or so, but that stadium picture gives State A LOT more than that...

2030, around there. It will seat 75,000-80,000

But the horseshoe will be complete by 2014.
It will seat 64,500

They want student enrollment to be 26,000-27,000 by 2020

Wont matter end of the world 2012. Ha

I think it is. The Morris/McElroy thing is kind of spooky.

Phase 1 is North endzone to match east and west double deck and lower tier seating in south endzone under jumbotron. I think added seats will bring it to 65,000. The picture shown will be 80,000 Phase 2 construction
