I personally think his article stating this would be the most devastating loss of Saban's career was worse. I mean the man has won 3 of the last 4 BCS titles and 4 of the last 10. The loss would suck, but it would hardly tarnish his legacy and what he has accomplished over the last 13 years in college football.

I was hoping his dad would possibly help make a sick intro video for the team one year.
Nope :(

Scarbinsky, many moons ago, used to be someone I looked forward to reading. He had a way with words - an eloquent writer among a bunch of sports guys trying to type out something relevant.
He changed a few years ago and became a sad Finebaum wannabe. He ruined the sport's section of the paper and I believe is the cause of many a good number of cancelled subscriptions.
I just laughed when I read this... then harkened back to the good ole days. I miss them.

Man, every time I glance at the comment section on an AL article, I die a little inside. It's as if every ounce of human dysfunction is funneled into one location.

Funny, I just looked at it myself, thinking the same thing. It's pretty bad, or sad I guess, depending on one's perspective.

Scarbo is the embodiment of a "muck-raking journalist." If anyone can take a quote out of context and wring it out for any sign of controversy that would be him.
I think he usually has more of an Auburn bias so this is kind of an unusual. It amazes me how he can write a whole article around such a simple quote? Why?

That is the eternal question when it comes to ole Kevin.
And how lazy is he that he can't come up with a decent REAL angle for this Iron Bowl?
fricking hack.

Dumb, how's he supposed to answer that question?
"I kinda sorta feel like we might be able to possibly run. Or maybe not."

Yep. He's unoriginal and tries to use Finebaum's formula, except he's not smart enough to write coherently or knowledgeable enough about football to do so.
