How many of those guys were top 10 in 2013? Pharoh Cooper had 3 recs in 2013 then 69 the next season.
Yeah, no kidding.

Amari Cooper only had 45 catches in 2013 and increased that total to 124 catches a year later with a worse quarterback...

Yes, but he also wasn't a starter in '13 and he wasn't #1 in '14 either.

Cooper has a better shot of being #1 in '14 than Williams.

I also said false but your argument is terrible.

He essentially missed 4 games and we didn't throw the ball much.

He could miss 4 games in '14 too, who knows. He missed time for suspension and injury, it could happen again like it could happen to anybody. Although, past behavior is often a good indicator of future behavior.

Also, Cooper avg'd more receptions for games played than Duke. So the argument that he missed games is moot.

Duke is not a bad choice.
OTOH, Josh Reynolds broke A&M's TD record (13) in his first year with a bum shoulder. I think he'll be... good. He may not lead in receptions, though, because there are so many targets.

Meh, didn't matter with Alabama last year. Auburn will still have Melvin Ray, Ricardo Louis, Marcus Davis, Tony Stevens and others getting reps and catches.

well, if it's an obvious passing down, who is the first guy you're going to try to stop? Duke, every time. Can any of the other guys do what Coates did? I like Melvin Ray, but i dont think he's a guy that can take the lid off of the defense. Maybe marcus davis? not too sure what he'll bring to the table. Rico Louis has been a burner with bad hands. is anybody expecting that to change?

is Duke going to move all over the field like Cooper? i know Gus can get pretty creative with his passing game and i expect to see a lot more looks than what we saw last year. but Kiffin pretty muched tailored the whole offense to feature Cooper. he lined up everywhere.

i know that Duke is gonna get his. he's a really good player; kinda a mix between AJ and Alshon. im just playing devil's advocate and saying it may not be as easy as [better QB + 2nd year in system] = lead the SEC in receptions.

Most likely Connor Mitch, barring injury or some amazing fall camp by a guy behind him on the depth chart.

He's the best wide receiver in the SEC, IMO.

Easily.

Is this the title of the series of prison letters he'll be sending to Laquon this fall?
