I honestly only remember Dre getting burnt 1 time this year and that was by Andre Debose against Florida.

I honestly, didn't watch the game but how did Morris Claiborne fair in coverage against WVU? I know they put up 500+ yards and 463 passing yards against those corners.

Most of the mock NFL draft's I've seen have Dre in the top 15 or so. Claiborne is top 5/10. Both are damn good and any team that needs a good CB will be happy with either one.

Brassell too. Same exact play. He went for a jam and missed.

Good catch.. Both were on first drives too, I believe.

i dont remember the WVU game much. We let WVU have alot of underneath stuff. That was Chavis' game plan. But i do know that AJM and Saban threw to the opposite side of the field and pretty much stayed away from Mo. This equals a great rep as a cover corner.

He also got beat in the back of the endzone in the Arkansas game, but it was a perfect throw in tight coverage...

I never said Morris was a bad cover. I think he is awesome. I am just saying Dre isn't as bad as everyone makes him out to be and it wouldn't surprise me if Dre went in front of him, if he out performs him in the combine. frick, the Falcons gave up, what? FIVE draft pics bc Julio was a good talent but absolutely killed the combine. Nothing in the draft surprises me.

Jordan Jefferson had more to do with the shutdown on Randall than Kirkpatrick.

the NFL does pull off some crazy shite. Im not saying Dre is a bad corner. And id be a fool to think he wont have an NFL career. Just kinda chuckled at the Great part.

The talent at LB and DL overshadow the DBs?

That is a fairly true statement.

I think dre will be sucessfull on sundays next year. hes got a lot of talent and I think that sometimes he was jus bein lazy when he didnt put forth his best effort he'll step it up even more when he getsd rafted prolly second round or so is my bet

Also have to give Dre credit for being a hard hitter. Hell, it was his hit on JL that caused him to panic and throw two picks, eventually ending JL's season.

Its nice to have someone from the opposite side to be able to talk to and share opinions without someone being a dick constantly, eh ?

Let LSU have something they can claim. Whether its true or not. They desperately need something to hold on to.

Even though Mel Kiper (sp) said they ere almost dead even and the only thing that will decide who goes first is which team picks first and what style of cb they need.

I personally would take dre all day long because of his ability knock guys's dicks in the dirt on top of his cover ability. I like it when they try to throw behind the line to his side. It usually makes for good Dre highlights.

IMO Dre is the better cb within 10 yards or so from the line but Mo is the better one 10 yards and beyond if that makes any sense

Dre has improved a lot this year.
Fewer lapses and his tackling has improved.
There is no denying his ability nor Mo's.
They will be fun to watch on Sundays.

Makes perfect sense. Like someone said earlier in this thread. Bump and run coverage gives Dre fits tho.
