It didn't take long to break the record after it had been set either.

Manning didn’t even have the courtesy and class to show up. What a bitch.

Funny how this worked d out for LSU, Saints and Alabama. People give Saban a hard time for not taking Brees but Sean Peyton tried to trade for Tony Romo prior to signing Brees but the asking price for Romo was too high. Maybe that was common knowledge but I didn’t realize it until I heard one of the Saints radio personalities talking about it the other day.

Brady is the best ever, Brees will go down as one of the best ever and so will Peyton. Peyton is going to be looked at as more of a legend because of how he elevated and changed the game.

They all walk into the HOF.

The Saints offered a 3rd round pick and Jerry Jones said nope. I'm not sure if it was before or after they signed Brees but it was between the 05 and 06 seasons.

makes sense since Peyton had just been QB coach in Dallas before NOLA hired him.

Brees shows us all again that the combine is a waste of time. U don't have to be 6-5 and have all these "measurables" to play qb. Brees, Russell Wilson, Mark brunnell, Steve young, all are around 5-11, 6 foot.

I just have this to say. If Johnny U had played in the modern day , he would be right up there with Peyton, Brett, Drew and Tom.

Congratulations to Drew Brees. He is class all the way around. Great performance tonight.

No, he will be known for his great community service work. Countless thousands of underprivileged children have been able to experience a drive-in theater by projecting a movie onto his forehead.

Brees has chucked that thing roughly 41 miles during his NFL career.
