#1 why is any play that is correctable considered non-reviewable.
#2 who is the idiot that watched film and said the hit on Hurts was to the chest. That is total bulls___

The hit should have been a penalty but I won't cry about it. I hate the targeting rule. This is big boy football.

I hate the rule too Sunseeker but it was made reviewable, the rule is well defined and whoever viewed the call is a damn liar

Maybe the same idiot that called the ridiculous personal foul penalty on Ole Miss #9 during the return.

I thought is was the correct no-call. Maybe grazed his face mask, but wasnt targeting the head.
They botched the personal foul on the same play though.

Read the rule guys, you cannot lead with the crown of the helmet and can't hit the head. Then watch the replay, the Ole Miss player did both. As I said I'm not a fan of the rule. I officiated for several years. Never with the advantage of slo-mo replay. I've seen the replay three times. It should have been called if they follow their own rules

It is what it is. Refs screwed Bama all day. Bama was good enough to overcome it. That's what truly great teams do. Roll damn Tide!

Landshart boards say the refs screwed them out of a win.
Gump boards say the refs screwed up and missed calls all game.
SEC officiating at its best.

Alabama's check did not clear until after these plays occurred. Therefore, they were non-reviewable.
