If I had a dollar for every Vol fan here in Tennessee that in 2007 I heard say that he would be gone in a couple of years, that he never stayed anywhere very long, he was another Larry Brown, yada yada yada...

ND will come calling when Saban's Bama contract nears expiration and Saban will be interested.
Saban will be 70 years old when his Bama contract expires....Who the hell wants a 70 yr old fossil roaming the sidelines? Even USCe doesn't want 70 yr old Stevo anymore.

LSU has to have the worse case of raw arse in the history of sports.

You have the best player in the country and are ranked in the top ten. GTF over it brah.

He will be out, no later than, after the 2018 season. I really feel like the 2017 will be his last.

Hell, he might yet take another job. The fact of the matter is that [LSU fans on here] insisted that he wouldn't be at Alabama more than four or so years.

The downvotes and replies to my post indicate that jimmies were rustled and that was not my intention. I would think that Tide fans know that Saban will have to be replaced at some point in time. Bama fans on this very thread have said that they thought Saban would pack it in at Bama after 2017. Others said he would coach to age 70. In 2017 Saban will be 65 or 66. 4 years would be plenty enough time for Saban to instill the process at ND and get a statue next to Knute and Ara.

I have to figure he'll retire from bama, after coaching as long as Ms Terry lets him.

Michigan State - LSU - Alabama. Bama, Ohio State, USC and Texas may all be on about the same elite scale level from a tradition and prestige standpoint

Saban is 63, I think hell coach until he's 70 and move straight to ESPN.

Yeah, he'd be better than Jim Mora but worse than everyone else in the history of ESPN.

I don't think he will stay much longer. His contract is through 2017 and I think that will be it at the most.

He will definitely stay 2 more years.

It's a pity there are so many jealous bitches.
