Recently this has been a good rivalry. We made the most dreadful hire, potentially in College Football history. He's already in the top 10 in my book. I do not know what Mason has been doing for 8 months. I would fire him today if I had the authority. 49 to 7 cause the Black Bears don't run up the score on us.

Not so sure about that. Dooley always managed to win openers even against decent teams. It's just that the more time he got to spend with the team the worse they got both in individual games and over the years. You could argue he destroyed far more and he did. But Mason right now is looking to be even worse than Dooley. Time will tell.

Honestly, I'm a little shocked that Vandy looked THAT bad. I would think they aren't as bad as they looked last Thursday, though. I was kind of shocked at how jovial Mason seemed in a press conference after the loss - he just seemed a little clueless. The guy has a pedigree, right? He was a coordinator...Surely he's not THAT far in over his head...
