Trooper has tried to be a head coach (Tulane), but he needs to go to a school as an O-Coordinator... In the past, he has not been willing to do that as he wold have to take a cut in pay.
He respected Malzahn, but he wanted to be the offensive coordinator at Auburn. Gene told him, you know the spread and we are moving away from that.
NOW, Trooper has MINIMAL input into the game plan, he does not call plays or even offer solutions...
Yes I believe their is FRICTION between Trooper and Loeffler..

Auburn friend who is somewhat close to the program told me Trooper Taylor has been banned by the university from any recruiting process . Any truth to this at all?

I can agree with you in this thread. no way a towel waving coach gets a HC job. not being racist, just as mentioned before, you need some class to be shown. I don't think any school in the SWAC would take him either. and BTW, a SWAC school, Alcorn State has a white coach.

an actual recruit, Tre Williams, went down there on a visit and was told that he couldnt even talk to trooper off campus and was only allowed to have contact with him there at the athletic complex. When he got in there Trooper told him that he was no longer allowed to be his recruiter and he had someone different now. Dont remember who his new recruiter is but that was info straight from the recruit.
