After Saban is there any star power? The ACC has Jimbo, Dabo, Richt and to a certain degree Fedora.
Discuss.

Have you ever touched yourself while looking at a picture of Nick Saban?

More accomplished certainly. SEC coaching lineup is fairly young.

The SEC a s down for sure in coaching talent, but I think you probably need to compare the top 3-5 HCs in each conference to get an idea on where we stand.

The SEC's problem is who are the top four HCs after Saban?

Yes. I'd add Petrino, Fuente, and Cutcliff to that list.

If they have two stars, which they do, then yes.

They sure do and it's a damn shame. Most SEC schools could pay 8 figures for a coach at this point with all the SEC tv money comping in but the recent hires have been underwhelming to say the least. Doesn't make much sense unless you buy into the argument that Saban has sucked up all the oxygen in the conference so to speak. I don't really buy it. There are upper tier Type A coaches out there that would come and not shy away from competition.

At the top...I do think the ACC has the better head coaches. I think in the SEC, its Saban and 2-14 is not close. The ACC, Fisher and Dabo are the top two with Richt as the third. However, I think both conferences has some very good coaches that could eventually be at the top.

How I would rank them:
SEC-
Tier 1:
Saban

Tier 2:
McElwain
Gus

Tier 3:
Mullen
Coach O
Smart
Freeze
Sumlin
Jones
Bielema

Tier 4:
Muschamp
Stoops
Mason
Odom

ACC-
Tier 1:
Jimbo
Dabo

Tier 2:
Richt
Fuente

Tier 3:
Johnson
Fedora
Petrino
Cutcliffe
Narduzzi

Tier 4:
Babers
Mendenhall
Doeren
Clawson
Addazio

Your tiers are retarded. You put Smart on a different level than Odom and Muschamp for what reason? No issue with where Muschamp is, but the frick has Smart done?

Also you don't give Stoops and Mason enough credit. Especially Mason.
