…to make it further than the Sweet 16?

Best starters in the nation talent-wise. Best bench players in the nation talent-wise.
Most murders per player talent-wise.

If you can’t get past San Diego State with this team, what’s the point?

It sort of is if you really think about it. Unless you lack the ability to think, much like Nate Oats of any gameplan whatsoever.

Bill Self is most synonymous with being a choke but he has 2 national titles because if you keep on having a top tier roster then you eventually break through.

He’s living and dying by the three
That’s not a good formula for success in the tourney

No honestly. Players are undisciplined and they Jack up too many 3s. Its great when it's working but just chunkin' junk when they are not falling. Look at their last game. When they needed to catch up they kept bricking 3s when they should have tried getting the ball inside for easy 2
What works in the regular season doesn't work in the tourney. Your not going to be on for 5 straight games against good competition

This is not wholly accurate. Alabama had a dramatic drop in team 3pt % in February through March. Alabama was still winning games by getting to the rim on dribble drives, offensive rebounds + tip-ins, transition baskets, and good defense.

Alabama lost their game against SDSU because their guards were absolutely dominated at the rim by very good team defense.

Alabama's offense is really 3 and rim. They usually can get one if the other is being defended well by the defense. SDSU did something very few teams have had success with against Alabama: take away the 3s, take away the kicks outs on dribble drives, and force the driver into a bad angle with a lot of help at the rim.

Nah. The UGA FB program is #1 in player killings.
