He's struggled from time to time, but he's going to be a good one. He's hitting .236 right now. His fielding percentage has taken a hit the last two SEC series too. But he makes some great plays as well.

This is college baseball. Youth often hurts you more than any other level. I would see some ray of hope with solid performances all three days against a great LSU team. I wouldn't if we just rolled over for them.

I have a gut feeling we are on the downside of peaking unfortunately. Maybe it's just gas.

Whats with all the LSU fans saying we are coming down from peaking? We just took 2/3 from ark and swept 3 straight weekends before that. I dont understand how you think we are declining. We have consistently played this brand of ball all year. We have solid pitching fri and sat. The better the fri and sat pitching is, the better sunday is bc of our bullpen. I would say we have 3 really solid, reliable guys that can come in out the bullpen in Bourgious, Bonvillan and Cotton and a couple pretty decent guys that can get a couple outs in Rumbelow and hopefully Mccune as we will prob see him some more this weekend to confirm his progress.
Our hitting has been solid all year with an exception of a couple games, misnomers. We have a really really tough lineup top to bottom with the middle pretty gruesome in Bregman, Rhymes, Katz, Ibarra. McMullen in the leadoff has been playing really good and Ross and Jones have been playing much better as well. The only questionable position we have is the DH.
Basically, I think if we can save our bullpen for sunday we get the sweep. I really hope we get the sweep, but I can definitely see us dropping sunday. I cant really see us dropping fri or sat but this is college baseball and anything can happen any day

Yeah I know Lee, saw him up at the fields at Spain Park when I was running routes with some guys this past summer. He's huge

Y'all are crazy with this "peaking/declining" stuff, this ain't track or swimming. If y'all think this team is declining u clearly aren't watching.
Tigers are solid in all three phases. Not unbeatable by any means, but pretty good.
I think the Tigers sweep but wouldn't be upset with 2/3. Expect the Tide to give LSU a good fight and maybe steal one.
