Wow. That is impressive in positives and negatives all at the same time.

they are/were good. more than half the guys listed were average at best. one, in particular, didn't even remain a QB

well based on the context of the thread title, you seemed to have been listing them as outliers to the premise that juco QBs don't have as much success generally. most of those QB's do not fit into that. not that this thread wasn't a not so subtle attempt to toot your own horn....

There was a specific criteria you chose to list as you laid out in your last post. If there was no specific criteria, you would have listed them all. I'm sorry you can't grasp this concept.

Anyways, the point of the thread was to show the stupidity behind statements like "Gus Malzahn can only win with a Junior College quarterback that is already developed."
If it was so easy to play in National Championships with Junior College quarterbacks that are already developed (which is funny in itself), why can't other programs do it? Why haven't others done it (no others have been brought up by ranters)? Instead, does it speak volumes of Gus Malzahn's coaching ability through his career?

I think it speaks volumes that you just responded to yourself.

you would have listed them all

All you have tried to do in this thread is argue semantics.

He really likes NYCAuburn as well.

Oh, you think Gene Chizik had more of a hand in that championship team? Not Gus Malzahn's explosive and dominating offense? Lead by one of the best college football players ever?

He also turned around a 3-9 team and took them to the National Championship with a defensive back playing quarterback, right?

As long as you're all in, I guess.

Sounds like you two should put your heads together and figure out which banned Alabama posters hated both of you.

Include all the years he has been at Auburn, 2010 and 2014 makes Auburn Teams with Gus as a coach at 42-12.... That averages over 10 wins per season... Not too shabby... Also 2-2 vs. Bama
ETA: The one season without Gus, 3-9.. (I guess he is just lucky)
