They’re in this year because the committee couldn’t justify leaving an undefeated defending champion out. Not because Clemson did anything during the course of the season worthy of being in the CFP.

Clemson fatigue is real and now everyone sees their schedule for what it is.

They play @ Notre Dame - which the committee creams their pants for every year despite the fact that they get blasted every time they show their face near a championship game.

So yeah, Clemson gets an easy road to the playoffs with an artificially-inflated OOC SOS, and gets in.

They'll have a "marquis game" against Notre Dame... If they go through undefeated and generally on cruise control through their schedule, they'll have no problem getting in again. They would have to lose by 50+ to LSU for that to even get called into question... and even then, it would be unlikely to have much impact.

They are still recruiting well and their schedule:

Akron
Notre Dame
Citadel
South Carolina
Boston College
Louisville
NC State
Cuse
Virginia
FSU
Wake Forrest
GT

Safe bet they will be in.

They will be snubbed in favor of a 1 loss MsState team. Only loss will be to LSU by 1 point on a last second hail mary.

People said this last year about Clemson and then beat the brakes of Bama to win it all

28 game win streak. Best QB in CFB. Defending national champ. Beat the dog shite out of the team that beat the dog shite out of LSU.

Yeah they don’t deserve an invite at all.

There’s something to be said about having the ability to prepare for and rest players an entire season to be ready for two games a year in the CFP.

They’re not more deserving than a one loss Alabama or even UGA. A close loss against LSU or AU or UF is worth more than any win they will ever have in conference.

Yes I don’t see Clemson not making the playoffs for many years to come with the way they are recruiting and the lack of ACC competition. You pukes just thought you had “Bama fatigue” but you haven’t seen fatigue yet.

They remind me of a P5 version of Boise St, only Boise didn’t cry about respect, they went out and played whoever would play them and did so on the road.

That’s aTm level “Loser speak” Baw... a close loss isn’t a win.

That’s not what I said. Go down to Colombia and ask someone educated there to explain it to you.
