A good Auburn man I knew is buried within eyesight of the bears grave. There's always some coke bottles, bags or golden flakes and other tributes sitting graveside. It's the cutest thing. I sat there for 30 minutes on Mother's Day (busiest graveyard day of the year) and watched 3 different families pull up and take pictures with the bears grave. That was kind of creepy...

yes their are plenty of hotels in Auburn, but if you have waited this long, you will not get one. Best bet is to stay in Montgomery.
