The weird thing about Ole Miss is that they don't play many close games. It's usually an easy win or a blowout loss.

Either Auburn will beat the shite out of Ole Miss or vice versa.

We will probably have some really good things sprinkled in a sea of wtf, like the majority of the season so far.

I'm pretty sure run defense is their problem, for that reason they actually match up OK with OM

Our offense is incredible when we don't derp on first down trying to run against a team we can't run on. If we have any running success we should be able to score in bunches on Saturday.

Every statistic I'm seeing leads me to believe Ole Miss will win this game by double digits. Notably the amount of yards Aubie has given up on the ground this year, placing them near the bottom of the FBS. When Ole Miss can run the ball (rare), we are hard to beat. With all that said, Auburn's going to Dillon Day us into the ground. TigerEagleFams 42 Bearebelsharks 3

Auburn isn't as bad as they look. If their WRs don't get a case of the dropsies against Ole Miss they can certainly hang around and potentially cause problems.

Auburn will at least try to stretch the field vertically against Ole Miss from time to time, even if Gus is a bit too fond of the bubble screen. If Auburn can't force Ole Miss to back off press coverage then the Blackrebelbears are going to eat Auburn short passing game alive. It also wouldn't hurt if Malzahn calls a few more passes on first down since he has such a noted tendency to run then.

I know I will get flamed for this but I honestly feel Gus has done a great job coaching this year with the lack of talent. You're seeing Sean White go through spring and summer practice mid season. Gus is also essentially playing defense by playing offense and running the clock and increasing time of possession because our defense is terrible and has no talent.

I never bet on Ole Miss one way or the other but in my pick em I picked UM. They will beat Auburn but like a couple people here I think they find a way to keep it close until the 4th quarter or so.

Which isn't a bad strategy at all, Bielema has been able to keep the Hogs around in close games the last two years by playing crawl ball and bleeding time off the clock.

The pass is actually the only thing they've come close to defending.

They're 62nd in passing efficiency defense and 73rd in passing yards allowed.

They're 100th out of 127 in rushing defense.

Everything points to a big Ole Miss win, unless the team that played Florida and Memphis shows up. You just never know.

My daddy told me a long time ago never to bet on or against AU. You never know who will show up. Having said that I think AU has it's offense back. Yeah, they lost to the pigs in overtime but if you watched that game you would have seen them moving the ball up and down the field pretty easily. The problem with AU has been their defense, no question about it. But, Muschamp at some point will show up and kick somebody's arse. May not be until next year but it's coming. He's a damn fine defensive mind.

Now that AU has the offense back and a questionable defense I would say they could beat OM but whatever happens they will give them a game (unlike TAMU).
