They'll be tons of gator tears in Tiger Stadium again.

Everybody remember Tebow's gusherfest after the 2007 game?

Jeez...dude tested the field's drainage capacity that night....

You know you only won 14-6 right? We would have won if ODB had held onto the ball.

The fact that we were even capable of losing to Miami makes me pretty pessimistic for any big game this year. Our defense seems to be pretty amazing, but that didn't stop louisville from ramming their dicks into us last year. (Plus, no more Easley).

Not totally convinced by our offense with Murphy, though it has shown some major improvement in the turnover department. We lack stud receivers, our QB play is by no means spectacular, and our running game isn't solid enough to carry the offense.

I'd like to think we have a pretty solid chance, but we haven't been challenged at all this year. LSU has. We still really don't know if our team is any good. A road game in Baton Rouge will test the shite out of us... and while I'm not expecting a win, it wouldn't totally shock me.

I'll go LSU: 24-7.

meh, whatever

frick it, Florida: 24-21.

Arkansas' defense is definitely underrated.
But this guy gets it. I don't know what some of these Florida fans have seen that make them think they will put up numbers on the LSU defense.

They've been questionable, sure, but Murray is the only qb that has lit them up. They're young, but it will take a very good QB to expose the LSU defense. I don't think Murphy is that guy.

I think LSU will be much more successful on offense than we were. Our run game did very well in the first quarter, but once we proved that our QB and WRs could not help each other out (dropped balls, passes thrown behind receivers), the run game stopped working so well. Then we got behind and had to pass waaaay more than we really wanted to, and the misfiring passing game killed us.

I don't see LSU struggling as much in the passing game. I think they'll be able to run when they need to and I think that balance wins the game.

It's weird how much LSU fans sound like they want to move to the Big12 where offenses dominate and defense is optional. Time and time again though, when a Big12 team plays a good/great SEC D they come out on the short end of the stick.

However, if LSU moves to the Big12 they won't have to worry about defense and longer AND scheduling complaints end automatically.

It's a win-win for everyone involved. Do you guys need help packing?

Oh so I guess that means we can use the built in excuse that we lost our starting linebacker and a DL right before that 14 play game winning drive in 2012? Your buddy in this thread keeps trying to say we were manhandled in the game and yet you only had 37 more yards. See how two can play that game?

I don't argue other people's points. My point is that you cannot compare what happened in 2011 because these are vastly different teams. Hell, compared to last year, these are very different teams (look at Mett's performance last year, and tell me if things have not changed).

I think this game will be close as it is strength vs strength, weakness vs weakness. Anyone who think that we will shut down LSU is as stupid as anyone who thinks that Mett is going to pass at will.

If Kwon, Barrow, Jones, Welter, and Debo all get hurt, then yes, Florida might be able to run the ball and score twice.

I hate that our defense is awful. I really enjoy winning with a dominant defense. I miss the feeling of excitement whenever our defense took to the field, instead I dread it. It blows.

Being in the stadium yelling your guts out to try to help the defense get pumped up and interfere with the offense is probably the best thing about football.

Unfortunately, we don't have that this year. Please forgive us if we find reprieve in a MUCH improved offense while our defense is under construction.

Be assured, SEC fans, Chavis will have this defense back into shape. It may not be fully complete this year, but we will return to defensive dominance.
