Think that picture's been around since the nineties. No reason to believe it's not real.

DD's touchdown sealed it...Mauck's second rush TD earlier in the 4th gave LSU the lead for good at 24-17...

2001 SECC, UT would have played in Rose Bowl for the NC. Having won in 98, playing and probably winning another NC would have enhanced their recruiting image. Since UT must recruit nationally, this loss hurt enough to start Fat Phil's demise. UT fans were so confident that many had already booked their plans to go to the Rose Bowl.

Correct on the 01 seccg. A win by Tennessee puts them in the rose bowl playing Miami for the natty. Coincidently, I was cleaning out a closet and found this gem I scooped up in the stadium after that game....

You think Saban was working off of Botch's analytics chart there?

You just gave away your age. What - 18? 21?

Because I don't know the legend of Lulu and a junior, I must be 18? I'm actually 32. I knew it wasn't farked, and have seen it sounds the internet for years, but wasn't sure if it was part of a comedy sketch, or if those unicorns were real.

Is that the game where Tennessee fans were handing out roses at the beginning, because they just KNEW they would be headed to the Rose Bowl? It's not on the video, but I seem to remember that in the highlights played on local news later.

Oh, and you can catch a glimpse of the fat couple much happier at around 4:50 of the video posted on p. 1, singing "God Bless America" before the game. (ETA: I see someone posted a screenshot of that in the other thread.)
