In the 93-94 season, Arkansas scored 75 second half points to beat Missouri 120-68.

LINK

Missouri was a #1 seed in the NCAAT that season.

In the 1970-1971 season (before the three point shot) Vanderbilt scored 76 points in the second half to beat Ole Miss 130-112 after trailing by six at halftime.

Of course I recall the game. I was a grad student at LSU during that time. Sat in the middle of the student section with my UK shirt and the smack talk stopped when the game started...The killer was when Walker slammed dunk and then proceeded to slap the backboard coming down.

Great times

Agreed. I believe they're unquestionably the best college basketball team since the 1976 Hoosiers. They had nine future NBA players. It would have been frightening how good Kentucky would have become if Pitino had stayed. We might be talking about Kentucky as the best program of the last 30 years not Duke.

Yep....look at the run he went on...

'92 Elite Eight(lost to Duke, best CBB game ever)
'93 Final Four(lost to Fab Five)
'94 2nd rd(upset by Marquette)
'95 Elite Eight(lost to UNC)
'96 National Champs
'97 National Runner up(lost to 'Zona in OT)

The '98 team won it all with his players....Pitino honestly would probably have at least 3-4 more NCs....
