Family of the people we tailgate with are Ole Miss and they always come to Tuscaloosa when OM plays here and they are awesome. Theyve been coming for years and I always catch myself pulling for OM because they have never given me a reason to hate them.

I pull for Tennessee on occasion because of family ties, especially against Florida. I've grown very tired of Rocky Top though.

i have family who went and now go to alabama and i have family who go to auburn. i used to root for bama pre-saban because i wanted them back for my uncles sake. now that he's gotten every and then some i rarely root for bama like i did before. as for auburn, no, made me hate them more if anything. also had one relative attend georgia tech but we prefer to not talk about that.

I keep up with UF due to the SO's parents, but I don't exactly cheer for them.

Dad went to Ole Miss and Grad School at LSU.
Brother went to MSU then Ole Miss.
Sister went to MSU.

I went to UF then MSU (almost went to Grad School at Ole Miss - glad I didn't).

I will pull for LSU whenever not playing MSU or UF.

I will for UF always except when playing MSU.

I will pull for Ole Miss occasionally but not in general.

With all that said, frick Ole Piss.

Most of my extended family is from Luzyanna and I was born there. My family moved to Texas when I was in 3rd grade. I became an Aggie in 5th grade but still pulled for the tigers. I went to College Station in the '80s and still pulled for LSU except when they played the Aggies. A funny thing happened, LSU got good and their fans, including most in my family became insufferable winners. You would think they never played football before Saban was there because in their mind, all those years of suckage don't exist. I don't pull for the tigers anymore.

Well, you may be the lone exception, but it seems to me the "insufferable since winning" prize for this year goes to your fans....and you didn't even win your division, or the Nat'l title...pot/kettle etc

Both parents went to undergrad and grad/law school at LSU.

I just finished my freshman year at Ole Miss.

In detail, please describe the look of disappointment they share each time they see you.

Considering they don't have to pay a dime, not much disappointment. I wanted to go to LSU, things just didn't work out, with me being a Mississippi resident.

It's hilarious to hear my dad act like he cares about Ole Miss sometimes. It's so forced that its kind of sad.

For some reason they took away the in-state tuition provision for OOS legacy students. I don't like it and it's obviously losing us people that would have otherwise come to LSU.

That is kind of funny.

I went to Auburn and in my family I have people who have attended six other SEC schools (Bama, Arkie, Ole Miss, Kentucky, S. Carolina, and UGA).

I keep up with those teams, sometimes kind of passively root for them and will occasionally give congrats when they do well (except Bama of course), but I'm certainly not emotionally invested in anywhere but Auburn.
