If I were a highly recruited player, I would rather live in those cities all day over LA, Seattle, Miami, Nashville, etc. A star football player in a small college town gets to be a god for 4 years.
I'd rather go to college in a college town only because I wouldn't have much money. The day after I graduate, I would rather be in LA, Seattle, Nashville, etc.

Does anyone on here think their own team doesn't cheat?

I don't think Mizzou cheats. Or at least not more than the average.I don't think Arky does either.

My team on the hand....

Of course they're cheating, that's the only way they can beat LSU.

My apologies randomways. I didn't mean to imply that you guys don't cheat. I agree that it was a cheap shot. I know you guys cheat with the best of 'em. I won't let it happen again.

By the way, that reminds me that my favorite opposing team taunt was in Nashville in 1992. The kid next to us held up a sign that read "You may beat us today, but you will work for us tomorrow." I know that is an old line, but I still loved it.

It's okay. I know you didn't mean to be insensitive.

I do love that line. The whole chant, even:

"That's alright
That's okay
You're gonna work
For us someday."

I was at a Duke/N.C. State football game once on the N.C. State side and the Wolfpack was beating the pants off Duke when their students struck up the chant. I'd never seen so many pissed-off fans of a team that was up by 3 touchdowns late in the game.
