The answer is actually no, but every talking head has already brought it up as a surefire fact.

Prescott was completely eliminated during the Miss. St. game. His stats are right on par with Watsons. Clemson runs EVERYTHING through Watson, much like Miss. St. does with Dak.

I'm just saying, before the Michigan State game it was "seniored QBs who can stand and deliver accurate balls downfield" can beat Alabama.

Now the Kanells of the world have 10 more days to come up with a new narrative of what Alabama's defense is bad at. The real answer though: they're not bad at pretty much anything.

They give us more trouble than QBs like Cook.

It's like you're mad at ESPN for trying to promote an event they are televising.

Instead, they should have everyone just get on tomorrow and say it will be a blowout.

Most teams have a bit of a problem with Mobile QB'S....

Bam's front seven this year has just been playing at a super high level... They will contain Watson some.. Just enough to frustrate him into a couple crucial TO'S... The more I look at this game the more confident I am that Bama wins.....

Terrible comparison and here is why. Miss state coming into the season had a very inexperienced O-line and to make things worse it got hit with injuries. So our offensive line was biggest weakness, thus why we had no running game all year. Nick Saban even said after the game he focussed on our OL which was smart and had Prescott running for his life knowing we had no running game etc. Prescott still put up big passing yards despite being sacked 9 times! Big difference

Prescott this year was twice the passing QB than he was last year. But behind a terrible OL with zilch running game you are asking a lot. Keep in mind last year Msu lost on the road @Alabama 25-20 and dominated the second half. That's the difference in having an OL and enough running threat to keep a defense honest. Not taking anything away from the Tide, they are wicked good under Saban but there is a big difference year to year , especially in the trenches.

I think a better comparison is Tennessee. A mobile QB + a very good running back. Bama limited Dobbs but Hurd had more success than most have this season. Watson and Gallman are probably better than Dobbs and Hurd, though. It's going to be tough.

Our O-Line is terrible. We could have had Cam Newton with Jedi force powers and it still wouldn't have mattered.

Of course you can't tell this Alabama fan that because all he remembers is an OL made of wet paper where they could tee off all game vs Prescott. It's still remarkable despite 9 sacks he threw for almost 300 yards while running for his life. I don't think Bams fans respect Dak based on that game.

Bama doesn't have trouble with mobile qbs. They have trouble with fluke plays.

The common denominator in losses is fluke plays coupled with turnovers. Mobile qbs just make more fluke plays.

This Bama defense will be ready to eat after hearing how a running QB is their weakness for 11 days. That use to work well against Bama when Saban had huge DL and slower LB's, but Saban wised up by making Bama's defense faster. The difference has been striking! Playing against DL's like Utah, Auburn, and LSU had has taught Saban. You don't need killer CB's when your defense has got a killer pass rush because you've got very athletic DL. Thank goodness Saban usually adapts.

These Bama DL & LB's can scoot.
Smart money will take note..........
