I'm aware and am still disappointed we weren't higher, but then again I'm not the one constantly bringing up this whole "3rd in the West" thing in every A&M related thread. Just want to correct misinformation is all.

This was my fault. I was a victim of the widespread misperception that A&M is a consistent contender in the SEC, based on a great game against Alabama two years ago.
Correction: Good luck in your attempt to avoid finish 4th in the West again this year.

So you're just not even reading my posts? There's no tiebreaker for 2nd. There is for a division title. It's pretty simple stuff.

So they finished tied for 2nd and 4th in thier two years...they average a 3rd place finish in the West.

Which is better than Auburns average since we came into the SEC. 1 and 7 is 3.5

First off, when Alabama and auburn fans agree on anything, it is usually an irrefutable truth. Always second guess yourself if you are disagreeing with both fanbases at the same time.
Second, we don't need auburn signs for motivation, and they don't need Bama signs. The rivalry is insane and is more intense than any other in ANY sport in this country. It is completely out of control. No matter how many "obsessed" posts get thrown around, we are in each others' heads and we always will be.
Just a brief moment of sanity - now back to being a rantard. Cheers.
