Well we know LSU and Auburn are both losses for them. I guess it depends on if Ole Miss can beat them too since we know the Aggies won't.

9-3 wouldn't surprise me, but it's not like we've ever needed great qb play under Saban.

Kiffin's been fired so he sucks.

Cam Cameron has been fired all over the map but he's the savior of LSU football.

Inconsistency, thy name is the SECr.

So Alabama has brought in 5 number recruiting classes in a row, some by a wide margin over the number two team, and yet they will likely lose 2 or 3 games this year(lost two last year)? Is Saban really the god you guys think he is?

You lost two last year with a better team.

Kiffin is being called a"Homerun Hire", and "Coker will win the Heisman"...no worries.

Got to 12 wins back in 2008 with a QB who barely threw over 1000 yards and had a 10-6 TD-INT ratio. Had a nice trio of backs, sucked in defenses, and then threw it over the top to Julio or Nick Walker (TE). Defensively, the team will not be as stout as teams in years past due to inexperience, which leads to mental errors and big mistakes (see 2010). I believe Alabama can get to 12 wins, because that's where the bar is set, but it all depends on how well the team chemistry is and if they can get confidence. Auburn last year is a good example of a team who can just start "clicking" at the right time and just start making plays at the right time. Coker is the least of my worries, the special teams unit, minus Jones returning, is the most questionable to me.

This D is much better

Last years D was the worst I've seen under Saban (not counting 1st year since it was a team he didn't recruit

I disagree. I think our D is going to be nasty this year.

Closest we've seen to 2011

That what a lot of people in this thread don't understand, this years Bama D will be the best D in the SEC

And a productive nose tackle. Exposed in the two losses.

And here we have the Rantard straw man rearing its ugly head yet again.

The front 7 might, but I can't see the secondary being as good as it was in '08 and there is still question marks at NG, even with Jarren Reed. But hell, the defense that year still gave up a lot of plays.
