If not for cheating Auburn refs, we would have won 3 of those and gotten a rematch against UF in Atlanta.

We played everyone of those same teams that year, except not all of them on the road, plus we added @Clemson to boot plus we opened the season on a Thursday night in Starkvegas against a very decent MSU team that year.
We caught Tennessee, Arkansas and Florida in consecutive weeks and lost all three games by less than a touchdown. Lost to Auburn on a Thursday night by less than a touchdown. Damn, that season was so close yet so far away.

the guy's a TCU fan. Not an Aggie. He formerly disguised as a gamecock, but his terrible posts eventually motivated actual SCAR fans to disown him once his mask was removed.
This is another of his many, many attempts to troll A&M fans.

LSU played an extremely tough road schedule in 2006, maybe the toughest ever in the history of time.

FWIW I was simply reflecting on the fact that SCAR played those same teams plus @ Clemson that season ... I had forgotten how tough the schedule was that year.
