Do you think Texas A&M's season was a total failure?

Upvote for yes, downvote for no
I say yes, returning Heisman winner, easy schedule and lots of preseason hype, and all they can do is go .500 in the SEC and finish 4th in the division.
With JFF and Evans and perhaps Sumlin leaving after the bowl game I can see them declining even further in 2014.

What did aTm do to you to perma-rustle your jimmies?

No. Had shite defense and Manziel was injured last two games (Tiger fans need not get jimmies rustled, not an excuse). 8-4 never a total failure.

They left the big 12

Aggies were going to Aggie...once JFF bolts, they will make Mississippi State look like the 2000's New England Patriots every season

Yes it is. They have a long way to go on defense.

Aggies lost to three of the current top four BCS teams by a combined 17 points...LSU game was a head-scratcher, though

Alabama - Loss
Auburn - Loss
@ LSU - Big Loss
@ Mizzou - Loss
They played 4 really good teams. Lost them all. Got blown out in one (LSU). I know they had an abysmal defense, but you think that they would have won/outscored at least one. Yeah. It was definitely a let down year for them. They're not even top 25 worthy in my opinion.

Outside of not having the natty or hoisting a trophy in Atlanta, as long as February shapes up like it seems, I count it as more of a success than LSU's for the second year in a row.

I don't think the season was a bust. We got to see that Evans is mediocre at best and that Manziel isn't really ready to move up yet.
