Do you think TCU's offense plus an upgrade of talent would do well against SEC?

Because it looks like that's A&M's new OC.

Not confirmed of course.

Yes.

Any offensive system can work with the right talent and coaching.

I mean, wasn't that what your offense was before?

With everyone in the spread now I can't keep track of the differences between the A&M passing spread and the TCU passing spread. I know that there is basically a Leach throw first camp (Kliff, TCU, etc) and a Meyer run first camp (Ohio State, Clemson, Auburn, Oregon to an extent). I didn't know there were sub-sectors.

I'm pretty sure our offense was the 1st down: run, 2nd down: bubble screen, 3rd Down: roll-out option if under 5 yards/run if over 5 yards spavital special.

Slightly better QB play and play calling with this defense and we shouldn't be losing any games.

Ok, let me rephrase, wasn't that what your offense was supposed to be before?

I'll invent a new system. There's just a center, a QB, and nine running backs. There are ten rushing options for every play. There ya go. Someone run that in the SEC.

I would take five above averaging performing offensive linemen, and keep our current QBs, over any single QB you could name. Our offensive line was the worst I've ever seen--no QB can look good playing behind that kind of hot garbage. Meachum is supposed to be an OL guy, so maybe there is some reason to be optimistic that he can make a difference, but he'll have to show me.

Call a play, wait for it to break down, and then expect Johnny to still get positive yards.

The plan didn't work so well when Johnny left.

I don't think it matters in A&M's case. You guys are just soft, and that's a culture not a coaching change.
