Yes. Plenty of guys who were complete baffoons showed more respect to their responsibilities as a college football player than JFF. He doesn't seem to realize his position.

It's not that he doesn't realize this.

It's that he doesn't care. He is the exact same person now that he was before his meteoric rise to fame. And that's actually impressive given the pressure upon him to change his personality.
