No.
I pull for the Ags to put up big numbers--kinda like a fantasy team player deal--but I don't pull for the team.
Unless the player(s) in question happen to be on the Texans roster.
Then, hell yeah.

(Screw Bud Adams, btw)

This, except replace Ags with Dores and Texans with Titans. Also, I don't screw around with the dead...

Depends on the role. I pull for the Lions since they have Stafford and like the Bengals because they seem to draft 2 of our guys every year, but if someone is just an OL or LB or something I probably won't pull for that team.

I generally root for players, not teams besides the saints.

conversely, I root against players from certain schools (notre dame, uscw, bama, to name a few)

This is the reason the Cardinals are my second favorite team. Now they just need to draft Mett or Hill

For me it goes:

1. Titans
2. Whoever has a former Bama player in a key position.

Basically this. I was a huge Jets fan when McElroy started for like a week

not really but when an LSU player ends up on the Niners they tend to be my favorite players on the team

No. I root for the player not the team, still hated the Vikings when a Rice was in Minnesota and still hate the Bears with Jeffery.

Depends. If it's some random position I hope they play well but don't necessarily root for their team. If it's a QB like Cam, I kinda have to root for the team because QBs are ultimately judged by the W-L column.

Sort of. More root for the player to do well. With so many Tigers and the roster and them historically being crap, but I kind of want to see AZ do well. But I am Saints first and foremost. And if the former Tiger is in Atlanta, they are on their own. Same with Carolina.

No. In fact, if they for the Falcons (Julio), they're dead to me.

Agree. John Jenkins was the nicest football player I've met at UGA, but he can go DIAF now.
