Can you even get a "credible" MBA online?

Uhhhh yes. When you're done you get a diploma just like anyone else. It doesn't say "COURSES TAKEN ONLINE" in big bold letters at the top of it, it looks the exact same as someone attending in person.

truth be told, i've started 2 different masters programs at different schools and finished neither. not because they are too hard (pretty sure i had either all a's or all a's and one b) but because i'm lazy or can't commit to school anymore now that i'm old.

Does Terry offer an online MBA?

I'm a professor.
More students do poorly and/or fail my online (synchronous and asynchronous) and blended/hybrid courses than do my face-to-face offerings.
And it's not even close.
When implemented correctly, it's much more challenging--for professors and students--to participate in online coursework.

I had a class that was only offered online during my soph year, I had to drop it and pick it back up in the spring term because I forget I was enrolled in the damn thing about 3 weeks in.

Thats just what people who are fans of the school they attended say to make themselves feel superior in some way to those who didn't. I didn't go to UGA but was a Bulldog fan before ever attending college. Fanhood has nothing to do with wear you attend school.

I'm not 100% sure, but I THINK they offer some sort of hybrid, where you can take a lot of it online but have to attend one of the campuses for some. Again I'm not sure so I could be totally wrong.

But, to answer your question - dude is a Kennesaw grad that cheers for Georgia like 90% of other UGA fans, so it doesn't matter.

Oh you cause Georgia is the only school that picks up sidewalk fans...

btw I go to UGA so I am the 10 percent

I know everyone has sidewalk fans, but with Kennesaw/Georgia Southern UGA fan jokes its sort of a credit.

UGA isn't that easy to get into, especially with HOPE scholarships being dropped around. So lots of kids that grow up UGA fans have to go to one of the dozens of other public institutions in Georgia.

In my experience,

Sidewalk fans that have actually went to any college > sidewalk fans like Alabama sidewalk fans

Several schools do this, at many there are very few classes that are only available for in person attendance anymore, usually the upper level courses with a lab, but some of those only require you in person for the lab as well.

The advantage to this is the student is able to work, often full time, while going to school. This is great for those who do not have their parents footing the bill or want to pay for it via loans, it creates an avenue to graduate completely debt free.

Many of these courses are set up to where the majority of your work is due on Sunday night, maybe an assignment or two due during the week, this allows you to do the school work on the weekends, work during the week. It isn't for everyone, just as living the frat life while in college isn't either.

So if you get a masters degree from a school, you can only root for their teams if you didn't take online classes?

You're not the first scholar guilty of said egregious error.

It was the easiest class, after week 1 it was pushed off to last minute due to the work load on campus, then pushed further and further out of my mind until mid-term grades were emailed out, lol.

The whole arguement stems from a "tshirt" fan being a non-alum.

An error most who make this claim often makes in succession with it is that Alums are graduates of said school...

Oh, I'm sure.
Sounds like a worthless class and a worthless professor.
Don't blame you a bit.
Well, I mean it's your fault, but it's understandable.

I had a bad adviser. This was a safety course going over various standards in the work place (mainly OSHA), lumped on top of the normal 16 hour load (Cal III, statics, dynamics, materials, physicsII) because "its easy just knock it out now".

A rule of thumb should be you can only be a legit fan of a school that is easier to get into than the institution you attend. Say, a Uga grad who is a die hard ole miss fan, legit in my book. The other way around and they can GFY.

What if, hypothetically, you are a scholarshipped athlete taking your courses by email?

Are you a "sidewalk" letterman?
