No. When time passes (several years) it becomes a reference point/pat on the back etc. BUT runner-up is for losers. Has no value with most great SEC schools (Big Six) - it's all or 'nuthin. Tho time allows for some bragging rights.
I suppose it would be ok if it's your first time but even that should wear off soon. Winner take all. Just one of the reasons I find this newfangled divisional bullshite to be...well bullshite.
