Alabama is above-average at best, and running quarterbacks are their kryptonite.

Why are Tennessee fans doing this to themselves

I want to see as little of Drake as possible. Dude has been a drive killer all year and has played badly most of the time he has been in there.

Well until someone else behind him steps up, we have nobody else to spell Henry. But maybe Harris or Scarborough will get a lot of reps in practice this week.

We also out scored them 20-7 after an abortion of a start. We came back from 27-0 to 27-17 and I swear most of us in that stadium actually thought we would win for about 5 minutes. Unfortunately Bama converted like 3 third downs to score a much needed TD to push it back to 17

No. Bama was up 27-0 then went on massive cruise control. Then Tenn scored 17 to make it 27-17. Bama scored again to make it 34-17 in the 3rd qtr. Victory was not in doubt and Bama did what they always do in those situations under Saban and just played the clock.

All of these people where wearing orange b/c none of us in Crimson ever felt concerned after the 1st qtr. Frustrated? Absolutely. Concerned? Nope.

They left most the 1st string in there. It also wasn't uncommon that Bama put UT in third and long situations which Dobbs managed to convert. Not like they were just slacking and allowing UT 7 yards a pop.

Saban said after the game that they'd spent 0 time practicing for his skill set because he hadn't played all year.

WHAT? That's fricking laughable. We fricking announced that he was going to play on Monday before the game.

You're telling me Saban knew nothing about it? bullshite.

I am aware. If Saban actually said that then it's pretty silly. Josh Dobbs doesn't have some unique skill set that has never been seen. I'm not sure what exactly they would prepare for that they hadnt seen before.

Not that it makes any difference, but it's in Tuscaloosa

No. But anything can happen.

I think they match up well enough that they could make it interesting for a half. Tennessee has a lot of talent, but I think they struggle to score and ultimately Alabama pulls away.

If UT were to pull the upset, special teams would be the x-factor. Their returners are pretty good.

This is just my observations from watching a couple UT games so correct me if I'm wrong, but Slob on my Dobbs seems to panic when the pocket collapses (which will happen a LOT saturday), but usually does well on designed runs. Not that he can't create when the play breaks down, but its not his strong suit either compared to other running QBs. UT needs to utilize those big receivers they have often if they want to have a chance, as well as Dobbs creating plays better than I have seen him do so far.
