Iowa 12-1 and their only loss this year was to a Sparty team ranked #3 in the nation. As much as you like basking in the glow of beating down Iowa last year (that powerhouse 6-6 Iowa), you can't compare. Hell, you barely beat a South Carolina team who lost to Citadel for shites sake.

I'm not saying that NW is a powerhouse but I'm also not saying that Tennessee should take them lightly. This isn't the same type of team that Iowa was last year when UT rolled them in the bowl game. That Iowa team didn't have a run game like they had this year. NW has an excellent running game and a much better defense than Iowa had last year. Why do you think Iowa went from 6-6 last year to 12-1 this year? Defense and running game. Northwestern is 10-2 for a good reason. I think UT wins but I don't expect anything like an @sswhooping you all are.

Obviously you haven't been on Vol Nation or RockyTop Talk. You'd have thought them Vol fans just won the SB after their beatdown of Iowa last year. Maybe you weren't jacked up over that win, but most of the Vols on those boards were. You'd have thought they brought down the almight NE Patriots or something. I get it. Cheer all you'd like! It's a bowl win. But it's stupid to talk shite to your opponent and say they suck and can't keep up and they are an embarrassment. Because by demeaning your opponent, it takes away from the accomplishment. That's what I'm saying. Beat 'em and act like you've done it before. Maybe it's because Tennessee has been down so long, I don't know. But they used to have a classier fan base when Peyton Manning was there.

No one on the rant outside of TN fans give a shite about the outcome, they will use it to attack us either way. If we lose, we lost to shitty northwestern "o my god disgrace to the SEC," and if we win we beat shitty northwestern "oh now TN fans are all predicting a national championship hows that worked out for you lately blah blah blah." TN fans get dicked in either scenario.
