OLE Miss woke up this morning 4th in the nation.....home field means more than it ever did because the West teams are so close,

Auburn wins a close game, fewest turnovers. Always hard to play a game after playing LSU because of their physicality.

OM is coming into this game banged up after their most physical game of the year and its also OM's 5th straight sec game without a bye. I think auburn just wears that defense down and pulls away at the end...

Auburn's defensive strength is stopping the run. LSU wanted to run and the Auburn D said "NO".

I am sure Miss will not have a great running day against Auburn, but will put the game in Bo's hands. Auburn's pass rush will allow Bo to sit in the pocket and play comfortably. Auburn should score between 24-30 points. The key will be if Bo is consistent enough to score more.

10 points at home in a night game

Two 90+ yard drives, 400+ yds of total offense, 256 rushing yards, 3 times inside the 5 - but only got 3 points.

The issues were 4 turnovers and not getting it in the end zone when LSU got into the red zone. The team is getting better every week and they have two weeks to work on those things and keep getting better.

Plus, if the DBs catch the 3 INTs that went through their hands, that could have been a 28-0 game (it would not have been, but those were the opportunities missed). The game was not as close as the score.

Of course they do. They lost to a very talented improving LSU in Tiger Stadium. They have Aubie at home I think they win.

I think it depends on when the turnovers happen for Auburn, because OM will probably get 2 or 3. Marshall makes a questionable throw, gets hit on the exchange and fumbles, something along those lines.

I feel like Auburn is better than Ole Miss, but itll be close. If Auburn doesn't turn it over at key times, they win a close game but not a very dramatic one.

So, how does this work? if Ole Miss beats Auburn, does that mean LSU is better than Auburn, or does it mean Ole Miss is better than LSU? Or if Auburn only beats Ole Miss by 10 points, does that mean Ole Miss is really better than LSU.....this is so confusing.

Right now it's...

Well, this is an elimination game this week.... the loser will have 2 losses & will for all intents & purposes be eliminated from the playoffs.

Someone is gonna go from #3 or #4 to out of the playoffs. Big pressure in week 10.

AU was the absolute worst possible matchup imaginable against LSU at the time the game was played.

AU has one of the best run defenses in the conference. Lsu had a freshman Qb making his first start ever at a pissed off Jordan Hare at night after LSU handed us our only in season loss last year. Lsu had no shot in that game. It wasn't that we are that great or lsu that bad.

It was just a worst case scenario for lsu.

This is certainly the game to watch this weekend. I don't know that any particular outcome affects LSU but it will be fun to see what happens.I hope it's a well played game that is decided at the end by great plays instead of mistakes. Go OM- Go Au Make the SEC proud!

pretty much. harris couldn't hit the broad side of a barn that night and sustain drives. 0-13 on third down doesn't win very many games. Auburn were the more prepared team that night for sure, and it showed on the scoreboard.

Auburn is a better matchup for Ole Miss. Their defense is small and quick, and the thrive on disruption.

Auburn's offense, meanwhile, is largely based on timing and misdirection. Expect Ole Miss to be in the backfield disrupting everything.

That said.....Ole Miss will need to score more than once in order to win. JMHO, could be wrong.

I think Ole Miss will show tremendous heart this weekend. How well they match up against the Auburn schemes is a concern. I think a quick defense like Ole Miss has (although a little undersized like K State) could play to the Rebs advantage.
